Convert to Read-Only converts any document into the TeachText/SimpleText read-only format. What are the minimum requirements to use these utilities? You need System 7.1. Anything lower will probably crash your Mac. You need the Scriptable Text Editor to utilize the Locked Files feature. They take almost no disk spaceﾊ(about 66K) and little RAMﾊ(100K - 200K). These utilities DO NOT work with ﾒAutoDoubledﾓ files.
